Job Description

The Recipe Consultant role is responsible for the strategy and design of our clients' manufacturing execution system (MES) master recipes and associated functionality. You will become intimate with the standard functionality of our pharmaceutical MES application, PharmaSuite®, and work directly with clients to optimize and convert paper recipes or migrate recipes from legacy systems. This pivotal role not only designs and builds effective master batch records but also identifies improvements/requirements of custom application designs to improve overall performance efficacy. You will report to the Recipe Consulting Team Lead and is located remotely or near our long-term client locations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build partnerships at a recipe/functional requirement level with client counterparts
• Lead workshops to analyze the client's requirements and design the appropriate master recipe templates that aligns to client needs
• Analyzing batch records and SOPs
• Creation of recipe prototypes
• Demonstration of system functionality and recipe design
• Lead recipe prototyping
• Directly author/configuration for master batch records and master batch record templates using FactoryTalk PharmaSuite as well as provide oversight and instructions to additional members of the recipe author team
• Become conversant with client-specific application customizations based on project assignments
• Collaboration with internal functional and development teams
• Define and analyze recipe requirements through client interviews and develop detailed designs that meet the requirements
• Collaborating with clients for coordination, change management, and application knowledge of recipes
• Directing creation, testing, validation of master recipes and collaboration with other builders/testers, update MBRs & templates using standard quality requirements
• Rigorously adhere to client and internal quality methodologies and procedures
• plan and perform testing, including documenting test conditions, expected results, and test validation

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in liberal arts and science or equivalent
• Willing and able to travel and work at client sites. Travel can vary based on assignment from 0% to 50% but averages <25%

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 8+ years (approx.) of professional experience producing technical/functional work product
• Background in implementing or software engineering for MES systems (ex.- weigh and dispense, EBR, integration), preferably in a regulated or pharmaceutical production environment.Knowledge of S88/S95 models (a design philosophy for describing equipment and procedures)
• Ability and willingness to learn the numerous functionalities (mainly of Rockwell Software PharmaSuite®) but as well as client and life science industry requirements
• A high level of comfort working with advanced computer applications (PharmaSuite® and related applications)
