PURPOSE:
The Service Advisor is responsible for service sales and gross profit, and for proper handling of service customers. By their actions, the Service Advisor influences the volume of service business and plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction. The Service Advisor is the dealership's first-line customer relations and service sales representative.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluent in Korean
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as an automotive Service Advisor
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of DMS services
Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct.
CSI focused
Punctual, organized and works well in a team environment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Greet each client in a prompt, courteous manner
Effectively communicate with clients to determine the nature of the service appointment.
Inspect vehicle prior to speaking to client to identify additional necessary service work and actively promote service sales.
Obtain and update client and vehicle data, organize and track all current repair orders.
Ensure client signs repair orders or service requests before leaving dealership.
Correspond with technicians to ensure proper repairs and client recommendations for future repairs
Maintain timely correspondence with the client on vehicle progress
Explain additional work needed including cost breakdown and time frame for repairs, document accordingly on repair order
Advise client of future maintenance or repair needs.
COMPENSATION RANGE:
$75,000-$150,000 annually, base hourly plus commission, subject to performance
