We're seeking an experienced and collaborative MEP Project Manager who will manage a design-build boiler renovation project in Manhattan, NY. The Senior MEP Project Manager will lead coordination with the design team, hold monthly pre-schedule meeting and monthly schedule update meetings, create bi-weekly reports and conduct bi-weekly project meetings keeping the client informed of project progress and challenges, assess impact of change requests or delays on the project schedule and budget, aid in resolving design issues should they arise, and review and assist client personnel with claim responses or contractor disputes. You'll also ensure compliance with the project specific construction management plan and timely completion of project work, monitor contractor's schedule in Primavera P6 to ensure timely completion of project work, create and track field and change orders, oversee Inspector duties and coordinate with client's Code Inspection personnel, oversee safety and security, and track contractor submittals utilizing submittal exchange.
The construction management team selected will provide and complete preconstruction services, field checks, constructability reviews, project coordination, oversight of Inspectors, QA/QC tasks payment, scheduling and oversee construction to bring all contracts to completion on time and on budget. You will need full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process along with the review/approval of the contractor's payment plan. As the projects are located at a high-functioning facility, coordination and communication is paramount between the construction team, the facility, and contractors. You'll be trained and expected to follow client policies and procedures and be supported with several in-house client resources including design experts, claims management personnel, a regional estimator, and regional code enforcement staff.

- 12 years experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building rehabilitation projects
- 4 years experience as an Assistant Project Manager
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building and client relationship building
- Design-build project experience
- Must be able to manage multiple projects using established controls/procedures and provide project leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers, and resolve any critical issues pertinent to the project
- Experience in occupied facilities
- Previous HVAC experience
- Employment will require successful completion of a background check
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 software
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or Construction
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification preferred
- NY professional engineer license preferred

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
