JOB:
- Implement and maintain the Genesis Family Services program philosophy, core values, and procedures in all facets of performance.
- Support the Agency’s mission and sensitivity to cultural and workplace harmony.
- Provide services and conduct oneself in a manner consistent with the professional Code of Ethics.
- Provide therapy, counseling, intervention, and education to clients professionally.
- Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on Mental Health assessment and treatment plans.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation. Meet lawfully audited requirements.
- Assure continuous reimbursable sessions for assigned clients.
- Open to participating in development opportunities to enhance professional growth, especially to maintain license, certification, or identified program performance skills.
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or other related Mental Health field
- Fully licensed or working towards licensure. (MFT, LMHC, LCSW)
- Registered intern number required if unlicensed (Please add to resume or cover letter).
- Maintain independent professional liability insurance.
- Have a reliable form of transportation.
- Ability to be flexible, especially with scheduling and site locations, and perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
- Full professional proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Couples therapy experience.
- Two or more years of experience with child/adolescent therapy.
- Experience developing and reviewing treatment plans.
- Strong computer skills – familiarity with Electronic Health Records.
