Mental Health Therapist
Women’s Health Innovations of Arizona is a nonprofit that is quickly growing. We are based in Gilbert, Arizona and we offer competitive pay with flexible hours. We are currently seeking a part time or full time perinatal Mental Health Therapist starting immediately. This position is a hybrid opportunity to work from home/in the office.
Women’s Health Innovations of Arizona (WHI) is a 501(c)(3) and is known for the great care we take of clients and employees alike. Women’s Health Innovations is a licensed outpatient treatment center that specializes in Maternal Mental Health. The need for this specialty is growing rapidly but there is a shortage of providers. The Position: Responsible for providing a spectrum of counseling services to perinatal women, to include individual as well as family/couple if appropriate. Helping the treatment team to develop a treatment plan for each patient and facilitating its execution or modification. Serves as the main clinical point of contact for identified patients. Reports directly to and receives clinical supervision from the Clinical Director.

Requirements:
● Must have a master’s degree and licensed in the State of Arizona.
● Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
● Must be knowledgeable of the following: Maternal Mental Health disorders (PMADs), Pregnancy/Postpartum Health issues, Family of Origin issues, Alcohol/Drug Abuse issues and any other areas pertinent to counseling position applying for.
● Must be open-minded, flexible, and willing to take direction.
● Must work well in crisis setting and have knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
● Meet all standard competencies put forth by Women’s Health Innovations of Arizona
● Fingerprint Clearance and CPR/FA certification.
Responsibilities
● Provide counseling to assigned groups
● Provide one-on-one counseling to assigned patients
● Create individualized treatment plans and updates for patients
● Keep up to date and accurate progress/incident notes on patients
● Maintain highest level of ethical standards
● Utilize necessary forms to support requirements of specific programs
● Attend regular case staffing and reviews with clinical team
● Attend in-service, staffing, seminars and classes as required
● Provide thorough, accurate records for each patient
● Able to facilitate psycho-educational groups
● Must sign personnel agreement form and participate in any orientation and reviews of office procedure meetings
● Provide Executive Director with qualifications and recommendations pertinent to this position; to be maintained in personnel file
● Communicate with family when and if necessary
● May include supervisory responsibilities as directed by the Clinical Director
