To create and facilitate transformational services, programs and experiences to promote transformational healing and sustainable life changes that improve Mental Health and wellness for
Black women and other women of color.
Definition of Service:
Therapist provides clinical therapeutic services to adolescents, and adults with identified Mental Health diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific behavioral health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis and can be provided via telehealth, in-office, in-school or other approved/appropriate community setting. Services include but are not limited to psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and couples therapy.
Therapy includes psycho-educational and psycho-therapy activities/interventions designed to assist the client of the reduction of dysfunction. Services are provided with client-centered and family- centered approaches and are delivered through goal specific interventions.
THERAPIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement and maintain THE WOMANIST CENTER philosophy, principles, and procedures in all facets of performance.
Conduct self in a manner consistent with the profession Code of Ethics.
Deliver therapeutic services to clients in the community and/or in the telehealth setting.
Assess, diagnosis and provide therapy, intervention and/or education to clients to enhance and foster the client’s optimal functioning and interactions in the home and community.
Develop treatment plans with SMART goals directed at client desired outcomes.
Provided clinically appropriate treatment based on Mental Health assessment and treatment plans.
Complete timely and accurate documentation.
Complete billing for client sessions.
Continually assess client needs, service availability and appropriateness; revise and update diagnosis and treatment plan as appropriate.
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with treatment team members and the family in the provision of services to meet the goals developed in the Person-Centered Plan.
Assure continuous reimbursable sessions for assigned clients.
Facilitate monthly programming for community members.
Other duties as agreed
Content and Blogging Responsibilities:
Writing one original blog piece that is engaging and insightful per calendar month.
Creating two original and creative reels per calendar month.
Creating content that is aligned with our focal areas and values.
Committed to building your own personal brand as a therapist.
Sharing new posts using your own social media platform to alert and attract new readers.
Staying current on industry trends for opportunities to attract new readers and viewers to create stronger, more engaging content.
Requirements:
A Master’s degree in a Mental Health field (e.g.: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling)
Mental Health or Substance Abuse Licensure or Provisional License
This is a CONTRACT 1099 Position
