- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the Mental Health needs of clients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Provide Mental Health counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to address a variety of Mental Health concerns
- Offer crisis management services and support during times of acute distress or emergency situations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients
- Provide case management services to ensure clients have access to necessary resources and support systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
```Skills```
- Strong knowledge and experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, and other special needs
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Ability to provide patient-centered care and develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent crisis management skills to effectively respond to emergency situations
- Competency in utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy
- Understanding of gender issues in counseling and the ability to provide culturally sensitive care
- Strong assessment skills to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
