Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Reclaim Counseling & Wellness is an outpatient behavioral health practice with offices in Burlington, Charlotte, Hampstead, and Wilmington, NC. We also offer telehealth services throughout North Carolina. Our team of clinicians has specialized training to treat a wide range of Mental Health disorders for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Mental Health Therapist who works with children and adults to join our Burlington, NC office. Candidates must be licensed in North Carolina; accepted licenses include LCMHC, LCMHCS, LCMHCA, LCSW, LCSWA, LMFT, or LMFTA. Our therapists see 18-25 clients per week on average.

Therapist Job Responsibilities:

· Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients

· Diagnose and treat Mental Health disorders

· Create individualized treatment plans according to clients’ needs and circumstances

· Meet with clients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary

· Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress and maintain thorough records

· Involve and advise family members when appropriate

· Refer clients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary

· Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality

· Contribute to the practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Therapist Qualifications/Skills:

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Excellent communication and listening skills

· Ability to build rapport quickly

· Detail oriented

· Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy

· Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

· Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field

· Current with all state licensing requirements

· Experience in Mental Health services working with children and adults
