Counseling Works is a vibrant private practice based in Highland Park, in the East End of Pittsburgh and we specialize in working with adults, adolescents and couples who are experiencing life transitions, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, building self regulation skills and helping people recover from traumatic experiences.
Counseling works offers modalities that are person centered, somatic and attachment focused as life transitions tend to stir up unresolved attachment trauma. Our goal is to heal trauma with evidence based practices which leads to ultimate self empowerment.
We have a beautiful set of offices, with an ample waiting room, on-street parking and easy access to public transit. In addition, we provide access to a group room and a network of therapists and psychiatrists. All billing is handled by our team and we will work with you on credentialing.

Requirements
- We are hiring licensed clinicians ONLY. You will have access to free weekly group consultation and a supportive team of colleagues.

- We are especially seeking clinicians who have an interest in working with folks going through the following transitions: early motherhood, college students, grief, adolescents and relationship changes/conflicts.
- Strongly prefer the following modalities: ACT, DBT, attachment / psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Somatic Based therapies, mindfulness based practices, Trauma Focused, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples.
