The pay rate will vary from $26.00 to $29.98 an hour.
- incentive pay is available to qualifying drivers.
We can offer dedicated routes and schedules at premium pay rates for part-time drivers.
Part-Time Position: Drivers in this position work part-time and will not accrue any company seniority.
Generally, expected to work as a valued member of Sadler Bros Trucking. This job will primarily consist of positioning and moving trailers on and between Postal facilities, loading and unloading of mail at various Postal facilities, and USPS Customers.
Position Responsibilities: Operate company owned/leased trucks to facilitate the movement of US Mail operations and Freight operations. Operate company owned/leased trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of US Mail and Freight. Perform required before, during, and after-operation inspections on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to shop personnel; clean equipment and required reports. Provide outstanding customer service during the delivery and pickup operations of US Mail and Freight. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you. Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Age Minimum - 22 years of age or older Requirements - Valid CDLValid Medical Card

Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
Ability to make overnight runs as required by the US Postal Service and Sadler Bros Trucking
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the US Postal Service
Ability to work independently Driving Record - No more than 2 moving violation convictions (other than prohibited) and no more than 1 preventable, DOT recordable losses in the past 12 months.
No more than 4 moving violation convictions (other than prohibited); no more than 2 preventable, DOT recordable losses; and in combination no more than 2 moving violation convictions and 2 preventable, DOT recordable losses in the past 36 months.
Prohibited violations within the past 36 months:
DUI
Possession of alcohol or drugs in the motor vehicle
Refusal to submit under implied consent, or similar Suspended license (current)
Operating while suspended
Suspensions of 30 days or more, if the result of a moving violation.
Felony use of a motor vehicle
Leaving the scene of an accident
Fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer

The employee must be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold.
