- Intermediate level understanding of minimum of 1 semiconductor wafer process (Epi, Metal Dep, Dielectric Dep, ALD Gap Fill, Etch)
- Preferably 2-3 years hands on training on the process in a technology development environment at a memory fab
- Keeps updated with state of the art in terms of wafer process equipment, process development and material advances in the field, and has shown ability to apply that knowledge to come up with approaches to solve N+2 issues in the module.
- Good understanding of relevant materials and defect characterization tools.
- Intermediate level of understanding of how Memory Process flows are constructed - process interactions, process margins, etch and litho bias, in-line metrology, mask design (to be able to communicate needs with litho engineer to design working mask set).
- Usage of SPX or similar TCAD process modeling. Good understanding of wafer probing for etest - to be able to set up new device specific algorithms working with eTest engineer.
- Intermediate level of understanding of device physics of semiconductor memory.
- Basic/Intermediate Project management skills- focused on setting up projects with goal of getting quality results on time and, making presentations with clear messaging of learning highlights and lowlights as well as help needed in a succinct manner.
- Demonstrated ability to translate > N+2 device integration requirement to unit process development requirements. Identify gaps in existing module and propose/develop potential solution paths.
- Drive cross functional teams comprising of multiple unit process to develop solution path.
- Good soft skills like adaptability to work in dynamic development environment, communication skills, team player (pick up slack if needed), good listener and takes accountability and learns from mistakes.
