Meme Expert/Short-Form Content Creator (Remote)

We are looking for an independent contractor who is creative and savvy to partner with our marketing team. We are seeking a Meme Expert/Short-Form Content Creator who can navigate the ever-evolving landscape of social media, particularly TikTok, and help us connect with our audience through engaging and viral content.

Scope of Work:

The Meme Expert/Short-Form Content Creatorwill be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop and execute social media strategies focused on increasing brand awareness and engagement, with a primary focus on TikTok.
• Collaborate with our graphic designer and editors to create and curate compelling short-form content for various platforms, including TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and others.
• Monitor and respond to audience inquiries, comments, and feedback across social media channels in a timely and engaging manner.
• Uphold brand values across all social media communications and match company vibe.
• Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and implement social media campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
• Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of social media campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for future initiatives.
• Stay on top of the latest trends and best practices in social media, specifically within the Gen Z demographic.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a TikTok/Social Media Specialist or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful short-form content.
• In-depth knowledge of advertising principles and techniques, especially within the Gen Z demographic.
• Proficient in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar programs.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• Understanding of public relations principles and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple social media accounts simultaneously.
• Strong analytics skills to analyze data and identify trends.
• Excellent relationship management skills to engage with followers and build brand loyalty.

Timeline:

The project will begin on the designated start date and will continue for 3 months, after which point the contract can may be renewed/extended.

$30/hour, 15 hour/week
