The Member Services department at the Los Angeles County Bar Association is accepting applications for a Part-time Member Services Agent. Enthusiastic candidate will staff the reception area, respond to inbound calls to the main switchboard and busy membership call center. Candidate possesses excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times regardless of situation.
This position is hybrid.
Self-motivated with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide customer service to members, potential members, as well as the general public.
· Provide customer service to calls received through the Member Services Call Center
· Sell Association products and services; membership, event registrations, etc.
· Answer questions about all Association products and services
· Process orders for various LACBA products using customer management database
· Resolve customer service complaints
· Understand Continuing Legal Education compliance rules
· Respond to customer email inquires
· Maintain data integrity
· Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook)
· Good verbal and written communications skills
· At least 3 years of customer service experience
· At least 3 years of call center experience
· At least 3 years of data entry experience
· Ability to multitask and effectively manage deadlines
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
