The National Association of Parliamentarians, a non-profit association located near the historic district of Independence, MO, is seeking a full-time Membership Coordinator. This position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for ensuring NAP’s membership processes run smoothly and professionally. Excellent customer service, organizational, and computer skills are critical.
- CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide excellent customer service on all programs and services membership and member programs and services.
- Manage the member on-boarding process, including processing member applications and exams, and renewals.
- Generate and distribute monthly membership lists, analyzing the reports to track membership trends.
- Identify ways in which the association can help grow and retain members.
- Coordinate the credentialing program, including processing applications, setting up examinations, and updating members’ records.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A customer service-oriented, “can do” approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with customer data management.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Natural curiosity and drive to learn.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with a wide variety of constituencies.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and to work independently.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work in a small team environment.
