Member Service Representative

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team. As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and provide accurate record keeping of electric accounts. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about customer service and enjoy building relationships with members.

Responsibilities:
- Greet members and provide a warm welcome to the electric cooperative
- Assist members with various electric account inquires, account changes, adjustments, payments, collections
- Answer member inquiries and provide accurate information regarding services and account details
- Utilize cash registers and 10-key typing skills to accurately process transactions
- Build strong relationships with members to enhance their overall experience
- Resolve member complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions

Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or financial services is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills to address member inquiries or issues
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively
