JOB SUMMARY:
Provides Customer Service via telephone and email communication in order to renew and upgrade current and lapsed members of the Arboretum. Assure that call documentation is maintained in required database and appropriate information is submitted to Data Processing in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Under the directions of the Senior Director of Membership & Donor Operations follow appropriate call scripts to achieve a desired result:
o Facilitate a minimum of 100-150 calls per day depending on that month’s focus
o Promote membership upgrades and renewals
o Resolve member account issues in a timely manner
o Obtain member feedback and accurately update donor data base profile with member information
o Provide relevant, accurate data to Data Processing in a timely manner
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES:
- High School education or equivalent; six months customer service experience desired.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; competent computer skills.
- Basic computer skills (working knowledge of MS platform) and ability to learn basics
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and holidays.
