Member Outreach Specialist - Remote

SECU is seeking a Member Outreach Specialist. This is a fully remote position; however, incumbent should be able to attend in-person meetings in our Linthicum HQ once per month.

The Member Outreach Specialist is responsible for outreach efforts with SECU membership in support of all business product lines. The Member Outreach Specialist will conduct consultative conversations with SECU’s field of membership to identify and recommend SECU products and services to develop mutually beneficial relationships. This individual serves as the primary facilitator of member onboarding follow-ups and other outreach efforts via outbound calling. The Member Outreach Specialist will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound call volume daily. Any follow-up that occurs will be conducted with our membership in the method in which they prefer (including but not limited to: phone, email, SMS, or video calling). This individual will be responsible for assisting members in opening additional products, such as deposit accounts or consumer loans, as well as driving referral business to SECU Mortgage, and SECU Financial Partners. The Member Outreach Specialist has a thorough knowledge of SECU’s products and services and is accountable for their behaviors and results while upholding SECU’s Code of Conduct. Compensation for this position will be weighed heavily on goal attainment and the ability to achieve agreed upon performance targets. Qualifications:

• College Degree Preferred
• 3+ years banking experience and proven performance in relationship building, goal attainment, and coaching in retail banking sector.
• Experience with lending.
• Deep experience with outbound calling experience.
• Communication, organization, teamwork, punctuality, critical thinking, social skills, creativity, adaptability, friendly personality
• May be assigned additional duties and responsibilities as required.
