M&E Business Operations Associate Manager will play a strategic role on the Meetings & Events team. In this role you will work with the Business Operations Manager to assist with the operational infrastructure that supports the overall M&E organizational effectiveness. This role is responsible for new hire onboarding readiness, management of permissions/access, document management and document retention.
As an ideal candidate you are an analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. You are detail oriented and use continuous feedback and examples to support and drive decision-making ultimately working backwards to exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains and updates onboarding templates for each new hire.
  • Coordinates with the hiring manager the end to end onboarding life cycle by qualifying and documenting the onboarding requirements and establishes the new hire onboarding schedule.
  • Forecasts and maintains calendar for all new hire start dates to ensure timely onboarding readiness
  • Maintains folder / file structure for Workdocs, Smartsheet, and Quip.
  • Logs and maintains access tracker for Workdocs Smartsheet, and Quip.
  • Manages job description and
  • Coordinates new hire activation and engagement by ensuring the appropriate permissions, systems, tools, trainings, 1:1's and resources are scheduled/granted for each new hire according to departmental guidelines.
  • Contributes to the continuous process improvement and innovation of the onboarding process
  • Helps create and maintain departmental templates, trackers, forms in compliance of document retention requirements.
  • Develop and maintain customer journeys, status reports, RACI's and KPI's in conjunction with the Business Operations Manager.
  • Maintains the customer/supplier escalations tracker and status of resolution in conjunction with the Business Operations Manager to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintains all operational forms, resources, tools, trackers e.g., Smartsheets, Quips, RACI, SOP, job descriptions, organizational charts, customer journeys. Perform auditing, granting access, sunsetting or researching any open requests and following up with the owner to ensure information is accurate
  • Updates, maintains and delivers the operational excellence highlights/newsletter including defining the objectives, key messages, channels, timeline and effectiveness.
  • Provides support of the overall M&E and operational excellence strategies
  • Other related tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working in the meetings/events industry
  • 2+ years assisting with organizational initiatives
  • 2+ years in talent acquisition, employee relations, human resources or recruiting
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills verbal and written
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3rd-Party meeting management vendor/agency experience in an operations and/or customer faceing role is a bonus
  • Operations management or supervisory experience
  • Experience working in Smartsheet, Quip, Miro, Mural, Workdocs, Visio, Cvent, Stova, Groupize or other meetings management technology systems desirable
  • Project management experience
  • Experience communicating with all levels of stakeholders

Estimated compensation for this position is:
68,900.00 - 99,900.00 USD
The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
