Job Title: Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse
Location: Baltimore, MD 21201
Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract
Salary: $1,922-$2,243/week
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialization in Medical Surgical Neuro to join our team. As an integral member of our healthcare organization, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments, to patients with neurological conditions.
- Monitor patients' conditions, identify any changes or complications, and take appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment plan, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and other safety measures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro nursing
- Flexibility to float within the organization if needed
- Previous travel nursing experience is required
- Availability for a 13-week assignment
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays (On-call duty is not required)
