SCHEDULE:
THIS IS A WEEEKEND SHIFT, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BE AVAILABLE EVERY WEEKEND. THE SHIFT STARTS AT 3PM AND ENDS AT 11PM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Collect and prepare urine samples for analysis
- Prepare medications, check medication counts before and after shift, perform medication checks on clients
- Maintain inventory and if necessary, place orders for new supplies
- Test for COVID and collect specimens for PCR processing
- Prepare detailed reports
- Document and review prescribed medication and follow protocols
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulation.
- Present test results to appropriate staff, LPN, or patients
- Wear and ensure proper fit of wearable safety gear (eye protection, clothing, gloves, mask etc.)
- Adhere to medical safety protocol, including keeping a sterile environment and executing proper hazardous waste disposal
- Complete necessary and required documentation in EMR
- Collect, prepare, and administer rapid testing for COVID
- Collect prescription copays on a monthly basis
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Certificate to work as a medical technician
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a medical technician
- Knowledge of biology and chemistry
- Proven experience working with various medical equipment and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding presentation and analytical abilities

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
