ICP is seeking a Medicare-B Billing Coordinator with demonstrated experience in Medicare-B billing, collection, transmission and appeals. This salary exempt position is full-time, working 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Identify Medicare B eligible accounts.
- Prepare and complete necessary documentation and reporting.
- Verify and create claims for Medicare B collection and transmission.
- Maintain tracking and tickler options within the Team DME software.
- Process all incoming Medicare B inquiries and follow up.
- Participation in overall month end billing process.
- Perform any necessary Medicare reviews for payments.
- Preparation of Medicare appeals and hearings.
- Comply with all required compliance guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)
- Knowledge of long-term care, and Medicare B procedures
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-motivated and dependable
