Job Description: Medical Scribe (and much much more)
- Work side-by-side as a scribe with our Providers , documenting in the Athena EMR.
- Conduct patient phone calls, including delivery of lab results, as well as courtesy callbacks
- Assist with ordering prescriptions, referrals, and coordination of lab results
- Assist in procedures, such as laceration repairs (under direct supervision)
- Answer phones, schedule patients, and assist with other office tasks.

Qualifications
- A "can do" attitude, and the belief that no task in clinic is too big or too small for you
- A drive to advance your healthcare career, and the knowledge that your scribe job is just a stepping stone to bigger things (applicants to PA school are encouraged to apply)
- Proficiency in Google Suite, and a willingness to learn the Athena EMR
- Customer service skills, and a professional bedside demeanor.
- Willingness to learn the business and operational aspects of healthcare
- Flexibility and Resilience: this is a new model of Urgent Care in a new clinic space with a new team, so a good attitude, flexibility, and resilience are required!

**The ideal candidate is one who is on a growth trajectory in their healthcare career and is in the process of preparing to apply to medical or PA school.**

Note: This is an exciting opportunity for the right applicant who wants to advance their healthcare career by getting hands-on with the clinical, technology, and business aspects of a clinic. Pay is based on experience level. Starting hours will be 9a-7p on M-F but will expand to 8a-8p on 7 days/week as the practice grows.
