Pacific Norhtwest leaders in Dermatology services are now seeking aMedical Assistant/Scribe to join their Lake Oswego team! This important position provides support across a variety of duties in accordance with the providers as well as general office upkeep. JOB DUTIES:
As the Medical Assistant/Scribe you will be responsible for assisting providers with medical documentation and procedures to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the provider they are assisting. Get ready to coordinate patient visits with appropriate staff members and provide effective communication. Regular duties will be flexible based on the day and will include, but are not limited to:
- clean, sterile and prep exam rooms
- rooming patients
- obtaining medical history / evaluations
- documenting patient information
- assisting Physician with procedures
- explaining procedures and follow-up care
- scribing into EMR software
- assist with administrative and clerical tasks
- assist with patient communication and phone triage
- assist with pre-op and post-op paperwork and communications
- assist with lab results protocols
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of recent Medical Assisting experience
- Dermatology or related specialty field highly preferred
- Proficient with EMR software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Professional written + verbal communications kills
- Accurate typing and grammatical abilities
- Proficient with HIPAA policies and procedures
