SalaryGretna Medical Center is seeking a candidate for an entry level position as a Medical Scribe. No experience necessary will train. Fast and accurate typing skills are necessary for this position. Bilingual candidates are a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Accompany provider into the patient examination room in order to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient and others
- List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the provider.
- Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications,
- Document any procedures performed by the physician
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Adhere to employer work
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff
- Perform other duties to assist as a medical assistant as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
