Medical Scheduler

Company Overview:
University Eye Associates is a nine-doctor optometry practice with three locations, open Monday- Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

At University Eye Associates, we strive to exceed our patient's expectations! We provide personalized vision care to our Charlotte, Harrisburg, and Davidson patients.

We are currently seeking a scheduler for our Charlotte location. The preferred candidate will be a patient-focused team player who enjoys working in a busy medical office. Attention to detail is essential for success in the role. Having a positive outlook is imperative since the scheduler is the voice of the practice at the beginning of our patient's journey. This is a full-time position.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• Answering Phones
• Scheduling Patients
• Scheduling Referrals
• Obtaining demographic and insurance information
• They are quickly responding to emails/voice mails.
• Insurance verification
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of medical office experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
