- Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and care
- Answer phones promptly and professionally
- Scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling procedures
- Registering patients
- Preparing patients charts
- Entering patient demographics into the database
- Accommodating various files and providing general office duties, e.g. data entry, faxing, scanning, etc.
- Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner
- Tending to client forms
- Addressing patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
- Providing support in the management of patient medical records
- Replying to inquiries in a detail-oriented and effective manner, while corresponding with phone calls within minimum rings
- Obtain Insurance authorizations for all procedures being performed in and outside of the office
- Follow all HIPAA regulations

- Answering Multi-Line Phone System experience
- Minimum 2 years recent experience working in a hospital, clinic or doctor's office
- Excellent communication skills (Oral and written)
- Knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Previous experiencing using some form of medical software is preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
