SalaryDirect Counsel is actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insurance Paralegal with expertise in Medical Records review and advanced Excel skills to join a dynamic legal firm specializing in insurance and workers' compensation matters. This is a temporary-to-hire position with a preference for candidates interested in a long-term, permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Medical Records review for insurance and workers' compensation cases.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with legal teams to gather and organize pertinent case information.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in document preparation and management.
- Apply workers' compensation or insurance-related experience to enhance case understanding.
- Assist in negotiating settlements and communicating with relevant parties.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a paralegal with a focus on Medical Records review.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation or insurance-related legal proceedings.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
- $40-45 per hour
