Medical Records Clerk (3Yrs Experience In Plaintiff Personal Injury)

We are a South Texas based plaintiff personal injury law firm seeking to hire a non-litigation Case Manager. The position available will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

· Dealing with incoming mail, email and faxes

· Communicating with medical providers and facilities

· Keeping clients informed by maintaining contact; communicating case progress

· Ordering and securing medical and billing records expeditiously

· Scanning, organizing, updating and redacting records received via Adobe Acrobat Pro

· Maintaining an accurate accounting for all billing records obtained

· Ensuring client files are in an accurate position for settlement demand preparation

Requirements

· Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Familiar with any document management system

· Detail oriented and able to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure

· Independent judgment is required to organize diversified workload

· Polite and professional in appearance

· Have the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively and positively.

· Minimum of 3 years experience in a plaintiff personal injury practice is a plus
