THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR MEDICAL RECORDS ANALYST

THE SCHEDULE:

This full-time analyst role with our law firm works during regular business hours.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Medical Records Analyst, you have the opportunity to play a vital role in managing electronic patient data, ensuring its accuracy, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations. You are responsible for troubleshooting issues related to EHR systems and collaborating with IT teams to implement effective solutions. You work closely with administrators, referrals, and IT personnel to optimize EHR systems according to their needs. The ability to effectively document processes, configurations, and issue resolutions is crucial. You conduct regular checks to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years experience in medical coding, health information management, health information technology, or related field
• 2+ years of data analytics experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of healthcare processes, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations, especially HIPPA
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and relevant healthcare software applications

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant certifications such as CPHIMS or CEHRS
• Previous experience in healthcare IT or related field
