Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate or GED. Clerical experience is preferred but not required
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Make all referrals to other specialists, including faxing all pertinent information, i.e., patient health information.
- Secures all pre-certifications and authorizations necessary for insurance companies.
- Serve as the Best Chance Network Coordinator and completes all related paper work to enroll and maintain records.
- Keep supply room organized and stocked.
- Reports to Karolyn any supplies that need ordering.
- Is cross-trained in Medical Records to provide Medical Record coverage.
- Scanning
- Back up answering phones and making appointments.
- Balances the daily work and deposit.
- Is cross trained with the front desk to provide coverage when that person is absent.
- Maintain work list in EMR in a timely fashion as instructed by supervisor.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
