We are looking for an experienced, dependable Medical Receptionist with remarkable people skills. The position is considered a crucial link between the patient and the care delivered by our practice. The ideal candidate MUST be able to multi-task, be self-motivated, enthusiastic, have a professional attitude and appearance, and a high level of patient service and commitment. Must work collaboratively with all clinical services staff in support of direct patient services, exhibiting flexibility and a “can do” attitude. Position requires someone with strong people and communication skills, computer skills, and a knack for social media.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both internal and holistic medicine, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This is a multi-faceted position. Responsiblities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing patient charts, obtaining lab results and medical records, assisting with general administrative tasks, discussing treatment recommendations with patients, setting up/ breaking down treatment room(s), and educating patients on various services available.
We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize next steps.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients.
- Schedule appointments and confirm appointments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Collect patient information and enter it into the system.
- Collect payments and discuss package pricing discounts.
- Keep clear, concise documentation of patient communication.
- Provide information about treatment modalities, office protocols, and available services.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
