```Overview``` We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Medical office. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and assisting patients with their inquiries. ```Duties``` - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records system (eClinicalWorks) - Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents - Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner - Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers - Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage - Provide administrative support to medical staff, including data entry and correspondence ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Previous experience working in a dental office or medical setting as a receptionist or office assistant - Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) - Strong knowledge of medical scheduling procedures and terminology - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records - Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to provide excellent customer service to patients while maintaining professionalism - Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as insurance verification and claims processing If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the healthcare industry and make a difference in patients' lives, we encourage you to apply for the position of Medical Office Assistant.
