AddressGENERAL SUMMARY:
This is an entry level position. Under direct supervision of leadership, performs a variety of tasks to support clinical workflow.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete necessary office tasks such as faxing, filing, sorting, printing, paperwork, mailing letters, etc.
- Receive phone calls from patients, and enter them into Epic in-basket as appropriate
- Schedule appointments
- Call patients for appointment reminder and outreach for tests due
- Act as a runner/courier
- Escort patient to destinations within clinic
- Round in lobby
- Maintain examination/treatment rooms, including room turnover
- Inventory/stocking of supplies and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Shift Hours: Mon - Fri - Day shift : Varies 8:30am - 5:00 pm / 9:30am -6:00 pm (No Weekends)
Pay: $16.50 / hr (flat rate with benefits)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma and/or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures.
- Works in a patient care setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases.
- Manual dexterity required to complete performance of duties. Walks, stands, stoops, and may require some heavy lifting of patients and/or equipment.
