Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist -Cranford, NJ (Night Shift)

Job Type: Full Time

Shifts: Nights (7pm - 3am)

Position Summary:

• Perform routine Medical Laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Responsible for the operation of the laboratory.

• Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology.

• Report test results following lab protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about critical results.

• Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling, and maintain accurate record keeping.

Education and Experience:

• Associate (technician) or bachelor's degree (technologist) in a related field required

• At least one year of Medical Laboratory experience required

• Must have experience in technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology

Certification and Licensure:

• MLT, ASCP, CPT or AMT certification preferred
