Laboratory technician needed for a busy specialty clinic using a CLIA Moderate Urine Drug Screen Analyzer. Lab experience desired but will train the right person. We are looking for a self motivated, highly detail oriented and efficient team player. This is an excellent opportunity to build a new skill set or add to existing laboratory experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Analyzer quality control and maintenance
- Accurate specimen collection, labeling and processing
- Accurate and efficient result reporting
- Analyzer inventory control
- Completion and upkeep of regulatory documentation as required by COLA, CLIA and the Laboratory Director
- Organize and implement monthly lab meetings with the Laboratory Director and staff
- Coordinate regular staff training on safe specimen collection practices and other training required on a yearly basis
- Communicate with lab consultant and analyzer support as needed
