We are seeking a skilled and passionate Medical Lab Technician to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our commitment to serving those who have served.
Job Summary:
As a Medical Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various Medical Laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of test results in support of our healthcare team's efforts to provide exceptional care to our veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses using a range of instruments and techniques, in areas such as hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, and immunology.
- Prepare samples for analysis and operate laboratory equipment with precision and accuracy.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and adhere to all safety and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to communicate test results and assist in the interpretation of data.
- Participate in quality control procedures to maintain the integrity of laboratory operations and the accuracy of results.
- Stay abreast of advancements in Medical Laboratory technology and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Support the laboratory team in achieving its goals and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by a recognized certifying agency.
- At least one year of experience working in a Medical Laboratory setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred).

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
