Medical Interpreter-All Languages

Assist Managed Care LLC, is a language and transportation solutions provider, committed to bridging the communication and transportation gap for those in need through compassion and reliable service.

Assist is seeking professional qualified and certified bilingual and multilingual freelance interpreters with experience in medical, legal, or educational fields, to provide on-site, video remote interpreting, and over the phone interpreting services. Freelance interpreters operate as 1099 independent contractors accepting appointments based on their availability.

Appointments are on an as needed basis.

Compensation is based on experience, locality, and field of expertise.

Qualifications:

• Be Fluent in English and target language with understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns. Interpret conversations accurately and impartially, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Assist with translating written documents such as consent forms and other important documents.
• Previous experience required in the medical, legal, or educational field.
• Have strong communications skills (both verbal and written), be able to communicate in a timely manner, and have strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate punctuality and be able to work independently.
• Qualified interpreters must have competed coursework and or training from and interpreting school or program.
• Certified interpreters must be certified through an accredited organization.
