Job Title: Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Classification: Salaried, Exempt
Department: Sales and Marketing
Status: Full Time
Reports to: President

Job Summary

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for ensuring brand excellence through conceptualizing, articulating, and executing insightful design approaches for marketing, advertising, promotions, and internal/external communications. This will be a remote position.

Essential Functions

  • Create and execute digital and print marketing strategies, content and campaigns.
  • Work closely with the company's internal teams (Sales, Operations, Administration) and outside agencies to generate qualified leads.
  • Maintain skill and knowledge of best practices in info-graphics, animation and video production, press releases, webinars, blog management, White Papers, case studies, email marketing, traditional and digital advertising, trade show management, website management, SEO and social media marketing/management.
  • Manage Google Ads and Keyword strategies.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business communications and marketing challenges.
  • Generate attractive and effective marketing collateral and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities with specific campaigns to retain existing customers, attract new customers and expand into new vertical markets.
  • Drive innovation and bring new creative approaches to design and marketing by being a brand ambassador who enthusiastically seeks out opportunities internally and externally to improve corporate marketing materials.
  • Create, manage and maintain company website, webinars, blog, white papers, press releases and email campaigns.
  • Develop new product/service demonstrations, prospect customer presentations and other marketing communications collateral as necessary.
  • Execute social media strategy, coordinate content across multiple digital platforms (social, blogs, YouTube, local directories, etc.).
  • Drive consistency in internal communication, presentations and recruiting materials regarding appearance and emphasis on company culture.
  • Maintain high standards for document storage, workspace organization and care of equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related multimedia/graphic design experience.
  • Customer service or contact center experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Graphic Design or related area preferred.
  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills:
    • Ability to convey company value propositions through compelling graphic and social media messaging.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in writing with accuracy of content, spelling and grammar, and proper use of digital communications etiquette and procedures.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
  • Advanced proficiency with standard office technologies, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, web browsers, email, electronic calendar, instant messaging, information sourcing, etc. Ability to navigate computer software and websites as necessary without third party assistance.
  • Occasional travel as required.
  • Availability to work outside of normal business hours as required within a 24/7 environment.
  • Conduct in accordance with the Mission, Objectives and Customer Directives of the company.

  • Adept at designing videos, drawings, and graphic materials.
  • Ability to professionally represent the company and our Clients through exemplary interpersonal skills and industry-specific business acumen.
  • Proficiency with editing materials for graphic clarity prior to sending to print.
  • Thorough knowledge of business functions, operations, objectives and strategies.
  • Demonstrate outstanding organization, attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills.
  • Must possess strong analytical, mathematical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starting, able to handle ambiguity and work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to foster teamwork by demonstrating trust, confidence, and commitment in actions and decisions to create a supportive, respectful, customer-focused work environment.
  • Ability to communicate compelling value proposition reflecting our Company, Client, Customer and Employee voice through internal and external messaging mediums.
  • Demonstrates passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
