Job Description
Field Service Engineer Position with Cranford Medical Imaging.
Looking for someone with experience in multi-vendor radiographic systems. C-arms, Flouro, Ultrasounds, and GE rad rooms experience a big plus.
Work Summary:
Provides service support to the customer base through maintaining customer site radiology equipment by performing diagnostic maintenance and repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine or scheduled inspections, maintenance, and calibration of Medical Imaging equipment
- Completes all administrative duties in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. This includes but is not limited to service ticket completion and submission, site log reporting, parts inventory management, FDA reporting and test equipment care and maintenance.
- Conduct routine or scheduled inspections, maintenance, and calibration of Medical Imaging equipment
- Identifies system problems and utilizes all available resources to render a timely resolution.
- Clean, replace, or install necessary parts to maintain smooth operation of equipment Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Be available 24 x 7 via phone.
- Ability to travel to other locations as required.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field including Electronics, Imaging Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology or Military Training
- 3-5 years related work experience.
- Valid driver's license and is insurable.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Basic computer applications, Networking and Email skills.
- Some overnight travel.
