Medical Front Office Coordinator - Newnan

Interventional Pain Management practice seeking experienced full-time Front Office Coordinator in our Newnan office and assist with duties including (but not limited to):

• Greeting patients and ensuring optimal first-impression for office patients/visitors
• Patient scheduling - maintains knowledge of all providers' schedules and restrictions
• Answering and returning phone calls
• Patient check-in and check-out processes
• Providing first-visit information over the phone to inquiring patients
• Data entry and maintaining updated records
• Verification of insurances, collecting co-payments, deductibles, and balances
• Posting daily payments accurately, generate daily report at the end day
• Processing incoming and outgoing referrals
• Other duties as requested

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once
• Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and upbeat personality
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling and medical terminology
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance and terminology
• Professional and mature demeanor and appearance
• 1+ year Medical Office experience
• Previous experience with Athena EHR highly desired
• Medical Insurance and Billing experience

Salary commensurate with experience. Office closed most Fridays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
