Tulsa Pediatric Group is seeking a customer service oriented individual with outstanding communication skills for our Front Desk. The right person will be capable of multitasking, answering incoming phone calls and scheduling, verifying insurance eligibility, confirming appointments, and working with other team members and physicians to provide the best possible care to our patients.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Register patients, obtain demographics, and verify insurance eligibility in computer EHR system.
- Request medical records and schedule appointments.
- Answer incoming calls, monitor faxes, and respond to patient messages as appropriate.
- Collect copay amounts and patient account balances according to office payment policy.
- Work alongside other team members to facilitate the best quality patient care.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a medical office environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and telephone etiquette.
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with other team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
