Description:
Position Summary
Provides curricular coordination, in efforts aimed at assessment and evaluation of and for the medical students across the college. Acts as liaison to campus and university departments and represents the leadership of the Office of Educational Affairs team at committee meetings such as the College Committee on Instruction & Appraisal (CCIA),Phase Management Committee, Policy Committee, Program Evaluation Committee meetings and all Educational Coordinating Committee meetings. The position executes administrative tasks and data requests from the committees, assists with course evaluation process and provides scheduling and special projects support for the interim dean for undergraduate Medical Education. Receiving direction from the Director and Associate Director of Assessment and Evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Any one or combination totaling four (4) years (48 months), from the categories below:
- College coursework in Medical Education, education, communications, public relations, or a closely related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
- Progressively more responsible clerical or secretarial experience, including a background in electronic word processing and database management systems.
- College coursework in Medical Education, education, communications, public relations, or a closely related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
Please Note: Completion of the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education Programs Certification (TAGME) from the National Board for Certification of Training Administrators qualifies applicants for each level of this series.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Five years experience in a health professions school or academic hospital.
- Knowledge of Medical Education
- Experience in PowerPoint
- Experience with file sharing
- Two years experience in a university
- Knowledge of some procedures and processes for quality in their prior field
- Experience in Excel and Word.
- Ability to make independent decisions. Ability to communicate
effectively with students, staff and physicians. Excellent oral and
written communication skills.
