About the Role
As a Medical Credit Balance Analyst, you will review and audit provider Credit Balances for overpayments.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing Credit Balances for overpayments. Working remotely with Central Billing Offices (CBO’s) in the State of Florida area to do analysis.
- Assessing payments against regulatory or administrative charges, coding, and billing errors. Determining if accurate payment has occurred.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new audit/review methodologies to identify overpayments and underpayments to providers. Detecting healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse.
- Preparing written case summaries and representing clients and Conduent as an expert witness.
- Applying knowledge of provider billing and accounting practices to the research of client policy and data. Revealing new overpayment recovery opportunities.
- Developing, maintaining, and ensuring adherence to multiple project schedules.
- Achieving percent of savings expectations through their review billing
- Ensuring productivity goals are met daily and communicating audit findings to clients.
- Participating in planning, daily meetings, and backlog sessions
- Must live in the state of Florida and be able travel occasionally to visit Medical Central Billing Offices.
- Have experience with medical claims, healthcare administration, or hospital billing.
- Have ability to use deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations.
- Have ability to complete work self-guided. (Receives moderate guidance and direction from others.)
- Have ability to develop an understanding of the Conduent's processes, and customers.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000.
