Position Summary
Medical Coding Specialists play a central role in value-based care program performance and are the most critical driver of successful revenue cycle management operations. Coding specialists ensure optimum, efficient, and timely reimbursement for medical services rendered via MY DR NOW’s dynamic healthcare delivery platform. Coding Specialists review every encounter note, capture all possible storytelling data, guarantee correct codes are assigned for all services, and ensure clean claims are submitted for immediate reimbursement by third-party payers.
Qualifications: Experience coding patient encounters for primary care services required. Must be computer savvy, able to work independently, have a passion for healthcare and have an entrepreneurial spirit!
