Medical Billing Supervisor

Job Summary:

Idaho Arthritis Center is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Supervisor to join our team. The Billing Supervisor will oversee the billing department's daily operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with billing regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of billing processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.

The physicians at Idaho Arthritis Center offer advanced care for rheumatic diseases, including well-known conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Gout, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, and Osteoporosis, as well as a diverse range of complex rheumatologic disorders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the billing department staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of billing.
• Review and analyze billing data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor billing activities to ensure compliance with company policies and billing regulations.
• Develop and implement billing procedures and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and present reports on billing activities and department performance to the Practice Administrator.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in billing or accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of billing processes and regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of billing software and systems (NextGen preferred).

*The job location will primarily be at the Caldwell clinic, with the possibility of 1-2 days per week at the Meridian location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
