Medical Billing Specialist

Robert Half has partnered up with a growing firm to find an experienced Medical Billing Specialist with strong technical skills and a knack for analysis. A long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity, this position would be located in the Boston, Massachusetts area. For a go-getter with real passion for the healthcare industry, this position would be ideal.

How you will make an impact

- Tracking and addressing AR. 

- The practice enjoys a significant niche fee-for-service component as part of its book of business (FAA, DOT, Immigration, Military Readiness, IMEs) that requires accounting. 

- Knowledge of QuickBooks for invoicing.

- This job would entail responsibility for AP as well. 

- You would work closely with our CPA who specializes in medical practices. 

- The person in this role, once confident with the core tasks referenced above, would then be well positioned to assume more leadership and operational responsibilities (e.g., payroll, budget process, monthly metrics). 

- You would work closely with the Principal, Director of Operations, and our CPA in tracking all business aspects of the practice. 

- Previous experience working with a healthcare practice management system preferred

- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

- QuickBooks experience

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required

- Medical billing experience

- Prefer 2+ years experience in Medical Billing or within the revenue cycle

- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
