Medical Billing /Credentialing Specialist

Medical group seeking medial billing/ payor credentialing specialist to join our team to fulfill its mission of Saving Lives. We provide care on an outpatient basis and are expanding our efforts to make Opioid Treatment (OBOT) more accessible across the nation.

We're looking for a savvy Medical Billing & coding specialist with a strong background in payor credentialing to lead the charge in developing our insurance base offerings. This position requires someone with the experience and confidence to take the lead as an essential part of our mission in saving lives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the entire credentialing process.
• Collaborate with providers and external organizations to streamline the credentialing.
• Oversee and facilitate the licensure requirements for healthcare providers.
• Monitor and track licensure renewals.
• Maintain a organized database of provider credentials, certifications, and licenses.
• Implement effective data management and security of sensitive information.
• Establishing companies base fee schedule and advising on billing rates and procedures.

This role is remote and the work volume is moderate to heavy with huge potential for growth.

Minimum Qualifications

Familiarity with healthcare provider licensure processes and requirements.

Knowledge of credentialing procedures and best practices.

Expertise in Medical Billing and coding.

2 years of experience in payer credentialing is essential.

Adept at maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with providers and internal teams.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
