SalaryPosition Overview:
- Experienced outpatient medical office biller for a solo physician practice
- Aggressive code scrubbing and collection of payments due, obtaining correct insurance cards, checking eligibiltiy
- Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:45 to 4 (some flexibility is present, occasional remote ok)
- Experience with Kareo/Tebra billing software a plus
- Must be willing to contact insurance companies for denials, contact patients via phone or email,
- Invoice patients. account for out of area claims, account for medicare supplemental payments
- Some cross training with medical receptionist for other duties a plus.
