Medical Billing and Coding Instructor (Hybrid)

POSITION
Blue Cliff College is seeking a Medical Billing and Coding Morning Instructor (Hybrid Format) for our ABC Training Center location. This role will be responsible for providing health care training to students while adhering to BPSS standards. This position would be scheduled to work 10:00am to 1:00pm, Monday through Friday. This position would work a hybrid schedule which would require this individual to have the ability to teach from a private workspace via Zoom while working from home and the ability to work onsite at the ABC Training Center for parts of the program. New York's Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS) oversees and monitors non-degree granting proprietary schools in New York. The Bureau of School Supervision is part of the New York State Education Department.

JOB DUTIES

• Teach the approved BPSS curriculum for Medical Billing & Coding.
• Maintain immaculate records for each student.
• Work with the Director of Education and the Director of Student Services.
• Provide compassionate education and understand not every student is at the same learning level.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have 2 years of Medical Billing and Coding experience.
• Currently possess a NY BPSS Teachers License (Blue Cliff will assist with obtaining this license, if necessary).
• Must have patience and work well with others.
• Must be computer savvy.
• Have an open schedule and be willing to pick up teaching shifts, when necessary.
• Teamwork and collaboration are required.
• Currently possess a bachelor's degree.

COMPENSATION
In the spirit of pay transparency, we can share that the pay range for this position is $21.00-25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
