SalaryQuality Care Rehab & Autism Center (QCRP) is an outpatient clinic that provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and ABA Therapy to a primarily pediatric population.
QCRP has 2 locations in Macomb County and we are looking for a self-motivated, experienced Medical Biller to join our team.

Position Responsibilities:
- Monitor the company’s accounts receivable balances by identifying collection issues and contacting patients.
- Post electronic charges, patient statements, payments, notes and other related information to insurance plans.
- Work and communicate with peers, patients, and payers regarding accounts receivable.
- Verify CPT, ICD-10 and/or modifiers to accurately reflect documented services.
- Collect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements.
- Submit insurance claims to payers and process rejected claims by sending an appeal and/or reconsideration letter.
- Verify patients eligibility, coverage, benefits and identify managed care authorization requirements.
- Assist reception in answering phones, checking in patients and handling day to day issues as needed.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Min (2) years of experience in a fast-paced medical office environment.
- Preferred experience billing outpatient PT, OT, Speech and/or ABA ser.
- Working knowledge of Medicare and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes for Michigan.
- Background and knowledge of QPP/MIPS standards of care.
- Experience with Provider Credentialing a plus!
- Customer service driven with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional and ethical standards of conduct.
- Must be comfortable navigating through a variety of insurance websites.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ability to problem solve.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
